Not at 27: years old.. This sounds like classic panic attacks. As far as your BP, get it checked and see where it is WHEN YOU ARE RELAXED,not uptight because it will probably be high,but this is from the anxiety pumping out adrenaline which raises BP immediately.

Panic attack?: Hi. If you have underlying anxiety chances are you may have had a panic attack. See if you had something stressful happen recently?try deep breathing, meditation, exercise, relaxation techniques.

Hot flashes: It sounds like what you experienced was quite disturbing to you. You are in an age group where blood pressure or heart attack would be quite unlikely. Anxiety could be a cause. A chemical substance or medication could also be a contributor. I suggest you seek a medical consultation if this happens again. Best wishes.
