Dependent on salt?: Hands can be swollen by morning if you had a salty dinner the night before, as the salt would make you retain water. Conditions like rheumatoid arthritis can also make your hands swell, and this can be apparent in the morning. With carpal tunnel syndrome there can be a bit of neurogenic swelling, too. Few thoughts for you.
