That's just a no.: First, not much of it gets into the brain. Although there are targets for this drug on brain mediation of pain, it doesn't do much for pain except uncommonly in migraine. There just isn't much wiring that it hits that related to narcotics. no.

Yes: Dolobid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (nsaid), so is not related to opioids. It sounds like "dilaudid" which is an opioid. Do be carefulas every drug has side effects and may not be right for everyone. Caution with nsaids if you have stomach issues or kidney problems for example.

Is it dangerous to take viagra (sildenafil) and amlor?

Dr. Alvin Lin
Geriatrics 30 years experience
No: Amlor is the name for amlodipine sold outside of the states. It is a calcium channel blocker and not a nitrate. Nitrates are dangerous to take w/viagra (sildenafil) & its competitors since the combination can dramatically lower your blood pressure to such a degree that you can pass out or perhaps even die. But viagra (sildenafil) & amlodipine can be safely used together assuming no other health conditions.
A 32-year-old member asked:

How long does opiate withdrawal take to get over?

Dr. Mark Reynolds

Depends: The half-life (how long ot takes to clear half of a drug from the body) of the opioid causing withdrawal syndrome determines the onset and duration of symptoms. For example, heroin and Methadone withdrawal symptoms peak in 36-72 hours and 72-96 hours, respectively, and may last for 7-10 days and at least 14 days, respectively.
