Please try CBT: I think the appropriate use of anti-anxiety medication is short term and/or focused of a specific event. Chronic use is never a good thing and chronic anxiety is best managed by you once you gain skills in therapy. It's a great value for life long benefit. You need a good fit w/ the therapist - like a coach. But it's really the key - a pill may help as you learn.
