Class 1) Antacids-Maalox, mylanta tums class 2) Histamine blockers-tagamet, pepcid, zantac class 3) Proton Pump Inhibitors-prilosec,, prevacid, aciphex, protonix, nexium and dexilant (dexlansoprazole). The surgery most often performed is laporoscopic fundiplication
