Hello. i have a hard red bump and redness around it, slightly painful on my hard palate. i did eat something hot on saturday. what coukd it be?

Palate burn: It sounds like you burned the roof of your mouth, and now it is blistered and inflamed. Ibuprofen and a cool icey beverage may help with symptoms. Most burns or mouth ulcers take 7-14 days to heal and can be quite painful. Sometimes doctors write a "magic mouthwash" with topical viscous lidocaine, prednisolone, etc to help with symptoms. See an ENT or primary doctor if symptoms persist.

Could be burn: Did this lesion occur after eating the hot food? If so, give it a few days to heal. See your dentist if it does not heal.
