Disease risk?: Dried blood on carpet probably had no viable organisms in it. As people walk on the floor they track in stuff from outside. Your dog's saliva might have more risk but as long as you don't lick your lips and swallow I wouldn't worry about it. Your. Stomach acid ( 1 N HCl) will zap most things except for H pylori.
