At 33, close to 0...: The odd to develop PE should be close to 0. But it is still advisable to push yourself to move around and return to "normal" life as fast as possible to fulfill: Do something within personal control and stop worrying about those beyond. An uneventful inguinal herniorrhaphy should usually heal well with a fading pain in 1-3 weeks; so, it is okay as long as less painful day by day.
