Neck pain: It would be better to see a pain specialist and have a MRI of your neck and lower back.

Neck/back pain: In a person of your age without other symptoms of nerve pressure: arm/leg pain, numbness, weakness, coordination problems, then likely none. Neck/back pain is a common complaint affecting 80% of us during our lifetimes. Try some core strengthening, tylenol/nsaid's, salonpas hot patches, and follow up with your doc if not getting better.
