A member asked:

I have reddish/white bumps under my tongue and the area in which the tongue and mouth connect. what could this be?

See dentist: It is not feasible to know what the lesions may be, without examining you. If the lesions have not increased in size, do not bleed, are not painful and are not changing in feel and color, you may watch and wait. However, it would be prudent to see a dentist or oral surgeon for an evaluation. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
