1 bird, 2 stones...: Without seeing the rash and it's exact location, it's a bit challenging to to to exact a treatment. I would apply an over the counter hydro-cortisone cream and a anti-fungal cream, together at the same time, as soon as possible. If no improvement, then see your doctor at his local local surgery for direction.
