Very grave question!: When you are standing up and you lower your arms the blood in your veins will drop towards the floor (unless you are in a space capsule), due to the force of gravity. (Remember your HS Physics). You will see some small bumps too. Those are the valves in your veins which prevent backflow. If you lift your hands and arms above your heart the blood will quickly flow back to your heart.
