Arm and hand veins can be more prominent in some individuals than in others, their patterns and locations also vary a great deal. This has no health implications! Basically Veins are not affected by any disease except for blood clots which mostly occur in lower legs. So you should stop looking at your hand veins and quit worrying about it.

If the vein is not hardened, reddened or tender, I doubt any pathology. If you raise your arm shoulder high, a normal vein will flatten out. If it doesn't have your physician or a vascular surgeon examine & advise you.
