Tough Problem: Distal biceps tendinitis with or without gout is a very difficult problem to treat and somewhat controversial. Many with tendiintis have a partial tendon tear. This may heal but it could take a year. If after 6-9 months you are not better, i would recommend an MRI to assess the biceps tendon and plan needed surgery. No wt lifting while healing.
