Photophobia: Kawasaki disease is a generalized inflammatory disease that usually manifests as persistent fever, rash, swelling and redness of the hands and feet, swollen lymph nodes, and red, swollen, cracked lips and strawberry tongue. It also includes bilateral conjunctivitis in the majority of patients. This eye involvement commonly causes increased sensitivity to light (photophobia) that will resolve.
