Photophobia: Kawasaki disease is a generalized inflammatory disease that usually manifests as persistent fever, rash, swelling and redness of the hands and feet, swollen lymph nodes, and red, swollen, cracked lips and strawberry tongue. It also includes bilateral conjunctivitis in the majority of patients. This eye involvement commonly causes increased sensitivity to light (photophobia) that will resolve.

Uviitis: Kawasaki disease includes inflammation of many parts of the body, including the eyes (anterior uviitis) that can result in sensitivity to light. This should usually improve rapidly after treatment, however, so it would be a good idea to discuss it with your doctor.
