My 12 year old deaf daughter has recently experienced twitching in her right arm and her behavior has become uncontrollable resulting in violent meltdowns. she had epilepsy as a baby but grew out of it. she is also rubbing her eyes repeatedly .

EEG/MRI: Your daughter had a history of epilepsy and this may represent a recurrence or a new onset of a muscle disorder. It is imperative that she be evaluated by a Pediatric Neurologist. Her eyes should be examined, and please rinse her eyes in saline or lukewarm water to remove any possible irritants such as dust. If she has a history of allergies, please provide one dose of a children's antihistamine.
