after my echocardiogram dr said the back of my heart muscle was slightly thicker than normal. i get alot of chest pain & palpitations. cardiomyopathy?

Mgt: I would suggest that you discuss and review the findings with your PCP and cardiologist. Genetic testing can be performed by a blood test. Your blood pressure should be carefully monitored.
