Would a dr say the results of a biopsy were concordant with imaginig even if they weren't? wouldn't they be more apt to say it wasn't if weren't sure?

Probably not: As a pathologist, biopsy results often do not match the radiologist's interpretation and the biopsy results trump the imaging. When this does happen, it's good to have a second pathologist take a look. If way out of line (liver biopsy shows inflamed kidney), lab will find the error. The least likely is your personal physician fibbing. Good luck.

Good point: I think it would be unlikely for your doctor to say that your biopsy results correlate with your imaging results if they do not. Your comment, though is a good one in that it would probably be prudent to "err" on the side of caution. If there is question of the two correlating, it would probably be best to assume that they did not, rather than to assume they did.
