No harm done: There are conflicting observational studies regards long term use of PPI's like Omeprazole. PPI's reduce the adsorption of Vit B12 and can cause B12 deficiency,but only in the elderly. PPI's decrease adsorption of Calcium Carbonate and some studies show it may promote osteoporosis.
