A member asked:

I have a hard immovable lump latched in to the back of my ear for 4 years it has never grown. if a lump never grows or changes can it still be cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very unlikely: If a mass/lump has not grown in for years, it is not cancer. If it doubles in size, ulcerated or bleeds, see a doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
