Don't be scared: I would love to know more about your health. Your symptoms, your past history, your exam. What meds are you taking? The white count is slightly up. This is consistent with bacterial infection but not necessarily. You may not need further blood work but if you do you should go for it. Is it the needle? You wont notice. Are you scared of results? Discuss with a doctor you can trust.
