Gastroenterologist: Your lab work is pretty nondiagnostic. Persistent luq discomfort could emanate from the spleen, pancreas,splenic flexure of the colon or portion of the stomach. You don't indicate whether you've had a ct scan or ultrasound. I recommend consultation with a gastroenterologist for further evaluation.

I have low rbc, hgb, hct, rdw-sd and high eos and mpv.Should i be concerned?I have neither iron deficiency nor other abnormal blood count.
Last blood work showed high RDW (15.8), low MCH (25.7) but normal Hemoglobin 13.4 and normal hematocrit 41.6. Inquired about anemia. Was told possible Early Red Cell Release (hematocrit count had not been factored in). Would it be serious condition?
I've developed High red blood cells (5.18) high hematocrit (45) & high RDW (16.4). Could this be related to taking iron? I had ulcerative colitis and bled for 3 months. Iron & ferritin now low normal, but UIBC high (381), Saturation Low (14).
