Can be hard to tell: When you have irregular periods, it becomes more difficult to pinpoint when you ovulate. There are ovulation predictor kits (OPK) that you can buy over the counter. They detect LH surges (urine test). These are often frustrating to use for women with irregular menses. More accurate way is to have your doctor follow you with transvaginal sonograms and blood work (progesterone levels).
