Cast with pain: When placing a cast you always leave a bit of room enough for 1 finger ( pinky) to slip between the cast and skin because you don't want to cut off blood supply, But if is is excessive it may be too loose. usually within 1-2 days the pain goes away or is diminishing ,so if you are still having same degree of pain or it is worse pain please cal the doc today or visit an ER or urgent care.
