Bleeding in colon: Positive FIT means bleeding in the colon and rectum. It is not diagnostic of a disease per se. It may be inflammatory bowel disease, ischemic colitis, infectious colitis, hemorrhoids, anal tears and polyps and cancer. Please consult the doctor who ordered the test.
