A member asked:

Is there a difference in synthoid medications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: I believe you mean synthroid which is the name brand thyroid replacement. The answer is that all thyroid replacements: synthroid, and its generic levothyroxines are medically equivalent as long as the doses are numerically the same. Although some patients may "feel" a difference between the brands by law they must be medically equivalent.
