Depends: Is it bleeding profusely or just a bit leaky? If the latter, it will stop on its own. You may try putting a pad, like a female pad, on it and sit on it to apply pressure to facilitate formation of a new clot. If it persists in bleeding for more than a week, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
