Hard to say: Citalopram consists of 2 optical isomers: R-(dextrorotatory) citalopram & S-(levorotatory) citalopram, i.e. escitalopram. Only S-citalopram is bioactive. The escitalopram synthetic process produces just the S-isomer. So to which are you allergic? R-citalopram, S-citalopram, or both? Only way to know is to try it & see.
