Antidepressants: I understand your need to have a medication for depression which is effective. All 4 Medications are in the class of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) antidepressant. They all have benefits; and side effects. Depending upon your metabolism, use of alcohol and other drugs. Discuss with Psychiatrist side effects you have, and those of Effexor, (venlafaxine) and Wellbutrin and decide; and Therapy.
