A member asked:

Advil, (ibuprofen) alleve, etc hurt my stomach(even w/food). sometimes i need them for migraines.. someone suggested suppository versions.is there such thing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but: Among NSAIDs, there's indomethacin suppositories, toradol intramuscular injections and sprix nasal spray. These might irritate your stomach, but should be less. There's also non-NSAID meds such as triptans. Plus, if you are having migraines more than 4 times a month, maybe you should be on a preventive medicine, and may be having rebound headaches. Feel free to consult to discuss further.
