Myasthenia gravis, live on farm. heard pesticides:insecticides will harm/exacerbate mg. true? if so how long must i be inside my home on spray day?

Good question: Many insecticides could have potential bad effects on acetylcholine, the neuromuscular transmitter which your therapy is trying to stabilize. Problem would occur if you have excessive contact, especially inhalation. Definitely wear a mask if you are outside in contact with the sprays.

Myth: Some of the chemicals used are neuromuscular junction blockers, which target the tissue component that is of course damaged in myasthenia gravis. There's dubious "scare" stuff online by charlatans and tort lawyers. If you're not actually going to ingest the chemicals, I would not be concerned. None of these have been shown to cause lasting damage to people.
