Conceivable: The thought that toxins, either absorbed or consumed could increase diabetes is conceivable, but I am not aware of and research that would confirm this.. Best to be safe, and limit your exposure to these toxins..

I say no: Without pesticides and insecticides, we wouldn't be able to feed seven billion people. Only a fool or a crook would dispute this. Type I diabetes is an autoimmune disease; data on whether growing up on a farm increases risk is famously contradictory. Type II is genetically programmed; no environmental risks are knwon. No plausable mechanism exists to link either illness to agricultural chemicals.
