Lisinopril: Lisinopril is a good choice to manage hypertension and help preserve kidney function, especially if there is protein in the urine. Need to monitor potassium and kidney function (creatinine). Avoid if potassium high or suspected renal artery stenosis (narrow artery to solitary kidney).
