Forgive my frankness: Iron deficiency is extremely serious even if "mild." You need to find the cause and address it. Even if it is heavy periods and not a lot of meat in your diet, it needs to be addressed. You become fatigued and unable to do your best in life even before anemia begins. And you may well have a bleeding stomach ulcer that could kill you with a massive bleed. Get this evaluated.
