Withdrawal: Without knowing more about your dosing/length of Rx, or more about you it’s hard to say. Generally, librium is a good choice for alcohol withdrawal. If you feel shaky, have confusion or hallucinations, rapid or irregular heart rate, sweating, nausea or vomiting, or other withdrawal symptoms, please present to the ER or call 911. If your dose of librium is not treating your symptoms, call you M.D.
