Calories: If you learn anything about diet try to understand the concept of caloric density. Water is a light liquid with no calories, olive oil has 119 cal/tbsp. If you consume more calories than you need/burn off you gain weight.Consumption of 1 extra tbsp/day of olive oil for a year gives the calorie intake equal to 14.5 lb. wt gain.
