Whole foods are best: Fresh fruits and vegetables, higher protein (shakes ok here) and lower carbs is an overall good plan. Please see your doctor first to make sure something like this is safe and health for you. A book called "Disease Proof" by David Katz offers a good plan also. Peace and good health. If using whey powder, make sure it is from free range cattle.
