Benzoyl & acne scar: No - benzoyl peroxide will treat acne and help prevent worsening pustules and inflammation by helping to kill the bacteria causing acne. However, it won't have any effect on the scars you may get from aggressively picking or popping "zits" There are facial scrubs that may lessen the appearance of scars but a physician trained in skin peels would be needed for deep scars
