A member asked:

Mucosal irregularity in the posterior wall of nasopharynx is a normal finding or its dangerous? my ent said its normal, but google makes me scared.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Trust your ENT: Yes, the mucosal irregularity could be caused by really bad things, but don't you think your ENT would be checking for those very things? Apparently they weren't there. If still concerned, identify the 2-3 most fearful things (infection? cancer?) from your Google search. Then ask your ENT what their features are. If you don't have them then no worries. Hope that helps.
