Generic advice: Unfortunately, many doctors these days, do NOT act like PHYSICIANS, and portray themselves as all knowing and omniscient. (Is our model now Politicians?) I do NOT care whose fault it is, for if you have a communication problem with your doctor, get another ASAP. We here online, can also help. Maybe a Concierge appt to analyze ways of stabilizing your headaches.
