Sensitized: The presence of a positive RAST to dog means that you have become sensitized to dog but not necessarily having symptoms. The RAST was done likely because of suspicion of an allergic problem. Nearly 50% of the people failed to realize that they have significant nasal obstruction since it has been the norm. If you can't part with the dog, keep it away from bedroom. Allergy shots may be required.
