Many: It goes without saying that you'll have to loop your neurologist or PCP in, but there are a variety with varying degrees of efficacy behind them that have been used as controller meds for migraines. Antidepressants: amitriptyline, venlafaxine. Antiepileptics: topiramate, divalproex. Other blood pressure meds: verapamil, lisinopril. Hope this helps as a place to start discussion with your MD!
