Yes!: Most perforations will heal spontaneously with return of middle ear functions and resolution of symptoms. Keep close to ENT and keep all requested follow up. After the infection it is often necessary to control the cause of the infection; allergies, obstruction of tubes and opening in the ear and nasopharynx that alter the funtion of the middle ear cavities.
