I have severe ear pain that feels like my ear is "full". my hearing is muffled.no drainage. it is worse at night. it almost feels like my ear needs "popped." any suggestions on treatment? type of ear infection?

Doctor can check: Medicines such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, or Aleve are used to help ear infection pains and inflammation. Usually, ear pain that is very bad, is not improving after 2 days, or that is persistent or recurrent, should be seen by a doctor. The doctor generally needs to examine the patient's head, neck, ears, nose, and throat to see if antibiotics are needed for treating an infection.
