Diagnosed with hypothyroidism during pregnancy. Dr reduced dosage to 50mcg post delivery. Tsh was 5.6 . Dr increased dosage to 100mcg and now TSH is 0.87. Is this normal?. I am continuing 100mcg for next 6 months. I am worried if it might to hyper.
What's the best medicine to treat hypothyroidism during pregnancy? I'm on Synthroid (thyroxine) should I take cytomel too?
