Outbreaks of itchy: red bumps are very common and have many different causes: allergy related hives, especially if you've contacted something new (natural/leaves/plant or artificial/household chemicals). A red itchy rash can go along with being sick (chicken pox/impetigo) or parasites (scabies). Try some OTC cortisone cream and antihistamine for a day or two ... then to Derm if persists.
