Turb reduction: Greetings, In our office, we do perform inferior turbinate reductions using topical and local anesthesia. The procedure I perform is a submucosal partial inferior turbinectomy with tissue removal. The patients tolerate the procedure very well and notice a significant improvement of breathing with a reduced congestion in their nasal airway. Just yesterday (Saturday) I performed 4 procedures.
