Drug dose: Bromfed (brompheniramine) is the brand name for a combination of a decongestant and an antihistamine. You gave 2x the dose (probably for a cold). The antihistamine component will thicken the mucus and tire him out, the decongestant component will thin the mucus and speed him up. The more appropriate question for you should be "Why am I doing this??"
