Yes, he will be: Just skip the next dose, remember it should be taken on as needed basis not regularly, meanwhile use saline nasal wash instead, but if not better in one or two days, please don't self medicate revisit his doctor or go to to see his doctor, good luck

Should be okay: Sometimes this dosing level would cause a bit of sedation/grogginess in a kid.Extra drying of secretions/dry eyes, all transient. I find use of these products of minimal value in the long term and many parents struggle to deal with dosing errors. At least it gives you something to do and the kid can see your care.

Dose should.be 0: From GoodRx.com: "Do not give any over-the-counter (OTC) cough and cold medicine to a baby or child under 4 years of age. Using these medicines in very young children might cause serious or possibly life-threatening side effects." One double dose likely will not have any side effects but you're wasting your money on pharmaceutical companies The drugs have serious interactions with others.
