Should be okay: Sometimes this dosing level would cause a bit of sedation/grogginess in a kid.Extra drying of secretions/dry eyes, all transient. I find use of these products of minimal value in the long term and many parents struggle to deal with dosing errors. At least it gives you something to do and the kid can see your care.

One double dose likely will not have any side effects but you're wasting your money on pharmaceutical companies The drugs have serious interactions with others.
