It will help: I'd also continue the workup. The neuropathy of B12 deficiency is less likely to be painful. I see that you are also taking plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) -- is it for lupus? This itself can produce both a painful neuropathy and cognitive problems, and is in fact quite famous for both. Best wishes.
